Account deletion

Delete your Slumber Wave account

How to permanently delete your Slumber Wave account and its data, in the app or by email.

You can permanently delete your Slumber Wave account and the data linked to it at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open Slumber Wave and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

We delete your account and its data from our servers right away, and remove your sign-in identity from our authentication provider (Firebase).

If you use Slumber Wave as a guest, there is no registered account to delete on this screen. Email us (see below) and we will delete the guest data linked to your device.

What is deleted

  • Your account and profile: email address, name, user ID and sign-in method
  • Your favorites and the mixes you saved
  • Your sleep history in Morning Summary, including the sounds you played and the estimated sleep times
  • Your achievements, rewards and coupon redemptions
  • Your sign-in identity at Firebase Authentication

What is kept, and for how long

  • Purchase records. Subscription events that the App Store or Google Play send us through RevenueCat are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. After deletion they are no longer linked to an account.
  • Service providers. Our analytics, session recording, crash reporting, push notification and subscription providers (Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity, Firebase, Sentry, OneSignal and RevenueCat) keep their own records under each provider's retention settings. Deleting your account does not delete these records automatically. Email us to ask for them to be deleted. Our Privacy Policy lists these providers.
  • On your device. Data cached on your phone stays there until you tap Clear Cache in Profile or delete the app.

Subscriptions

Slumber Wave Premium is billed through the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings or in Google Play > Subscriptions.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer open the app, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request and delete the account and its data within 30 days.
